The Design
We develop and design using WordPress Open Source Content Managed System (CMS) software. We chose this software because it is extremely flexible and many extensions are available and can be added freely. This makes your website more adaptable.
With a WordPress website, your are able to update your own website content and add articles, edit them, add images, add/remove pages, manage menus and a whole lot more. We will support you get to the point where you can do this all on your own.
Other great features.
The first great feature is that you assign access to different people as editors, publishers, authors, managers, administrators of the site. They will then be able to access the site from the front and back end. Using this feature means that different people can be responsible for different parts of the website and it is not just one persons responsibility.
Other features include the ability to change the look and feel of the site without having to change the backend.
Modules can be added to the website
The software is open source so there are many thousands of developers adding modules to the software, such as galleries, sitemaps, feedback forms, quizzes, surveys, polls, events, online shopping carts, forum, blogs, weblinks and many more ….
How do get your site up and running?
You will need to think about the purpose of the site, what content you will want to add and then what you want the site to look and feel like.
What will you need to get your template designed?
1. Find website you like – even if they are not about the same topics
2. Decide on the colors you would want to use
3. Think about the structure you want for your site – simple is best.
4. If you don’t have a logo think about wether you want one and what it should look like. With wordpress you don’t really need one, the software has great functions to create a great header for you site.
5. How many columns on the left &/or right, what are the columns going to be used for.
6. Where do you want the menu, left or right column, top of page or below the header.
7. Need a footer, what links if any on the footer?
Here are some questions you should answer:
1. Give us an idea of 3 colors you want to use
2. Site structure: column on left and right, only left, only right, wide or narrow.
3. Header/footer height and width (site width)
4. Menu position, gloss or flat, cascading?
5. Supply images if possible, else images might need to be purchased.
6. Logo/Branding images, branding text
7. Fonts required, stay with basic fonts, your visitors may not have the same fonts you have installed on your PC.
8. Site style, square/ rounded corners, drop shadows.
9. We need one or two web site links that looks similar or have aspects you are looking for in a web site.
From this information we can set up a draft template, and work from there.
We have an idea of the template what now?
You need to think about the menu structure, what menu items you will be needing, from this you can branch out to content.
What’s great about this site is that you can add the content later, once we have finished the template, uploaded the site for you and configured it, all you need to do is add your content and you have a very professional easy to manage website with plenty of potential.

- Template Designed using three main colours, buttons, columns, menu structures etc as per the specification and requirements form – found here. Import of template onto your site.
- WordPress software Installation of software onto clients account and setup of passwords.
- Website Set up of site – menu’s, side bars etc, as per specifications.
- Inputting of content for upto 15 pages supplied by yourself.
EXCLUDED IN THIS PRICE IS :
- Header specially designed Should you require the header to be specially designed, we will arrange for a designer to do that for you at your own cost. This will be charged separately by the designer.
- Add-Ons Various add-ons are available as shown under that section on the site. We will quote seperately for each add on.
- All flash work Will be quoted separately.
- Additional input of content Will be quoted separately.
